I’ve always loved patterns; some of my earliest memories are of drawing and crafting, playing with the shapes and colours. It’s a passion that’s grown with age; through my degree in textiles & surface decoration, and more recently, upholstery.

When I’m not designing surface patterns & fabrics, I relax by trawling charity shops and flea markets for mid-century gems.  I draw my inspiration from these finds; furniture, fabrics, home-wares and ceramics from the 50s, 60s and 70s, pretty much anything that catches my magpie-eye.  I have a patient family who live with my ever-growing collection of vintage booty!

That's Me B&W

Other influences include Scandinavian design and illustrators and graphic designers such as Charley Harper, Olle Eksell and Hervé Moran.

I create designs for a range of surfaces; most recently a range of lampshades and cushions.  My products are available through my online shops.  As a freelance designer, I work from home in Tunbridge Wells, UK, and undertake commissions for textiles, stationary and paper products.
