It will come as no surprise that as a huge MidCentury Modern aficionado, I’ll be heading to the Barbican to catch the ‘The World of Charles & Ray Eames’ exhibition.
The husband and wife duo are among the most influential designers of the 20th Century. Widely known for their furniture and production design, they also worked in the fields of photography, film & architecture.
“The World of Charles and Ray Eames includes not only the designs for which they are best known, but provides an insiet into the lives of the Eameses, the Eames Office and the breadth of their pioneering work, bringing their ideas and playful spirit to life.”
There’s still time to see the exhibition, which runs until the 14th of February. For more information or tickets, visit barbican.org.uk
